Monday Meetings

Fiji - Ba

 Candice Hiatt

Candice Hiatt received her Masters in International Law from the University of Kent in Brussels, during which she spent time working for a European Union organization dedicated to promoting corporate social responsibility. Candice previously lived in her husband’s home country of El Salvador, discovering a passion for sustainable development programs focused on promoting children’s health and education. Prior to joining Help International, Candice worked and volunteered for Glasswing International and Mercy Corps, focused on alleviating poverty and oppression in Latin America through economic development, health and food security programs. She is now excited to put into practice her experience and passion for helping others in Fiji. In addition to traveling around the world, Candice loves exploring the outdoors with her family through hiking, running, biking, and skiing.

 Katherine Stanfill
Katherine was raised in the Northwestern corner of Montana. She loves being outdoors and exploring new places. She is currently completing graduate work in public administration and anticipates beginning law school in the fall of 2012. Since she was young, Katherine has felt an obligation to reach out to others in need. This is what initially prompted her to study and volunteer in Guadalajara, Mexico and later serve an LDS mission in Tokyo, Japan. Over time, that desire has evolved into a passion for international development and human rights advocacy. Her previous education and career experiences lie in business development and management, so Katherine is now pleased to apply these skills as a Country Director in Fiji.

Yours Truly, HELP Headquarters
